Morlun, currently the most popular combatant on KMC, hears about Dracula's army of wolves, bats and other creatures of the night as well as the dreaded Adamantium Katanas.

He heads over to Transylvania to take over. Can he do it? Dracula gets 1 hour of prep.

I miss M:AA sad

Morlun eats Vlad and shits out Edward from Twilight.

sonicwires
which Dracula is that ? that looks like the "Avengers Assemble Dracula" in which case morlun stomps

Flyattractor
Go with Classic Tomb Of Dracula and this would be a cool read.

Kazenji
That version of Drac looks like Kain from the Blood Omen games.

StiltmanFTW
That's been Drac's look since 2010, if memory serves...

Seems to me that Morlun can only drain creatures that have a life force within them. Dracula falls outside of those parameters. I think that this would probably end in a stalemate with Dracula taking a slight lead throughout the fight due to his arcane abilities, and shape shifting powers.

CosmicComet
Hmmm interesting opinion.

Can anyone confirm about the life drain?

StiltmanFTW
That's just Stoic assuming so because vampires qualify as "undead" creatures.

Morlun doesn't need to rely heavily on the life drain so it can win the battles for him.

He can just rape Vlad anally instead.

In every encounter that I've read that involved Morlun or his family, they've only been able to feed on creatures that have a life force. Recently they were unable to feed on a Spider Woman because of the radiation that she had in her. Stilt, they have their limits. Dracula would be another one, unless you can prove that Dracula has a life force within him.

For the latter part of your post. That's just you picking a side. Dracula has many advantages over Morlun.

StiltmanFTW
Again, why should Morlun need his lifeforce draining ability against someone as ineffective as Dracula?

Sin I AM
Drac...i don't see morlun being effective againt him

Morlun only has a strength advantage. Dracula is subjectively more powerful.

StiltmanFTW
Not really.

Drac is Blade's punching bag who, despite his redesign, failed to accumulate any significant feats.

DarkSaint85
I wager he also has a speed advantage over Drac as well, but could be wrong.

I mean sure Drac has versatility over Morlun. Wouldn't mean much when Morlun just drives his fist through him before he can react.

celeyhyga17
Drac has prep for an hour?

It was 616 Spider-Woman, that's weakness explotation, basically how Spider-Man defeated Morlun the first time and Jennix wants to replicate her immunity to radiation into their bodies.

Unlike many others, i dont have issues with being wrong Stilt, it just seems logical that characters that feed on life force shouldn't be able to feed on the dead. In my opinion the writer is an idiot, or the reason behind their ability to drain a vampire is because it was a totem.

Dracula is not a totem. That vampire may have been an exception, hence the irony of it all. Did you miss that part?

Parmaniac
Inheritors have also been shown to be able to drain non totems.

Morlun did it in his early showings with a black woman on the street before there were any other inheritors. But recently Verna was shown to drain a female astronaut and it was revealed that they not only gain their essence but also their knowledge which makes them even more op than they already were.

Also Brix and Bora were about to or at least bthink about draining an ordinary police officer who then ran away. Don't have the scan at hand atm.

EDIT: Vampires are totems by default, because Bats and shit.

I know all about what they can drain. I question whether or not they can drain a being that has a lack of life force in them. That vampire was also a Spider Totem. Dracula isn't, which isn't to say that they could not drain him, it just would not make sense to me, but that may just be my perspective. However, he did mention the irony of it after all, which was indicative of it being highly irregular from where i stand.

You may want to reread every post that i made on this subject. I never made or took a firm stance on anything other than stating that Dracula was subjectively the more powerful of the two. Just in case someone attempts to smash it in my face like Stilt attempted to.

Wait, vampires are totems now? Based on what? Any proof of this?

CosmicComet
He clearly mentioned irony because normally vampires are the ones thought of as draining life force.

And what concrete evidence proves that vampires, not bats, mice, wolves, rats, mist, or any other form that they can take are in fact mystical totems, and not the progeny of Vernae? I'm genuinely curious to understand the correlation.
