Gorgon was actually really unimpressive when he was posing as Wolverine.

I'm gonna give this to blade.

All of the villains were, excluding Superia, she was kicking ass (at least on the beginning of the arc):

Pretty much any other version of Gorgon would beat Blade into the ground, but this version is a poor imitation of Logan on one of his worse days.

He just needed to let go of Danny's arm (he was holding it), that minimal effort alone would cause Danny to lose a limb... we don't know what DW's glove claws were made out of, but we do know Skaar's hide in that arc was still written as nigh-invulnerable (Barney's arrows didn't do shit, Ai Apaec hurt his damn hand and so on), yet Gorgon cut him up just fine.

"New Dark Avengers" idea was a travesty, no clue why Bendis did that. Especially so soon after his well-reviewed Dark Avengers run.

As for bad KOs, Blade - amped Blade - did get one-panel'd by Cap, I remind you

A good clawing might not kill him these days, though. He did walk off a broken back.

That's true. He was "saving himself" for Logan

And he took some damage before that, if memory serves.

Spider-Man's kick (f*ck you, Daredevil) and some arrows to the ribs. Barton's brother needs to practice his accuracy more.

Just as Gorgon had showings like getting blown up and stabbed to shit... and he still fought back, owned Elektra and incapacitated Wolverine.

Unless you want to focus on his showings as DW only, discounting past feats.

No, all feats should apply.

Then Blade is screwed, plain and simple.
