Sauron has the plot-device only weakness with the One Ring, but he also never faced anyone of Ego's power that can casually destroy an entire armada of spaceships, fly around and destroy stuff in his avatar form on his own planet like S4uperman, and utilize energy tentacles to incapacitate his victims.

This is Ego's fight to lose, IMO.
