Use context guys, Thor cant fly. This is about ground damage.

Superman's feat was shared with Zod as it was a clash that produced the result. Thor just smashed the ground.

Thor used a tool and not his own body.
Thor and his enemy was connected to the ground, making it a direct damage feat to the ground and not an indirect one.
The shockwaves created by Superman and Zod did the damage (Superman and Zod never touched the ground).

Zod wasn't flying yet in this clash, so he was connected directly to the ground.

Yes, Thor used a weapon, but so what? The OP simply asked which was a more impressive feat. If you're going to complain about Mjolnir we might as well complain that Zod and Superman had.a running/flying start to gather momentum which Thor and Malekith did not.

Now answer the question: which was more impressive?

Be careful Froth. You're using common sense. You know how some people react to that.

If you press a button and destroy a city then is that impressive for you to do? No. It's impressive for the mechanism but not you. Using a tool always makes a feat less impressive FOR THE PERSON than not using a tool.

Zod was actually in the air when they collided. The last 30ft of distance, Zod hopped toward Superman and created a small crater.

And even with a head start, doing that much damage without directly making contact is very impressive.

Obviously the Superman/Zod one. The crater was caused by the shockwave of the two colliding. Whereas Thor's feat has all of his force being directed at the ground.
