Only around 6% of American Scientists are Republicans.

In a Survey before Trump and only 33% of them believed in God.

https://www.people-press.org/2009/07/09/section-4-scientists-politics-and-religion/

I doubt more of them are Republican subsequent to Trump, no wonder he hates the Educated.

at Squall X,

Who knows. I do know Trump will eventually lose his war on Science.

Do you think we read all those links you post? its like you cant post without doing a hyper link.

You literally just took their title of the article and said "I do know he will lose his war on science" when the title of that article is "Why Trump Will Lose His War on Science."

Flashing Blade
It's not surprising, so few educated people are Republicans.

Give him some credit, at least he's posting links instead of plagiarizing them.

nothing surprising, republicans are dumb, it's really rare for scientist to be dumb, so it's just pure logic imo

It's always fascinating to me the side saying "not all women have vaginas" feels it has any room to talk shit about the intellect of others lol.

Leftists have legit believed in their own hype: they truly think they are superior. That is their most hilarious delusion.

eThneoLgrRnae
Ah, another one of those fake polls those on the left like to tout.

If I was a religious nut I might be exploding folk into gooey bits cuz they drew a picture of a revered figure of my awful religion.

Nah, I just know both sides have plenty of people who are dumb as f*ck.

Yeah, because believing that socialism is somehow superior to capitalism and that men can wake up one day and decide that they are no longer men & instead women are both such intelligent positions to have. roll eyes (sarcastic)

Putinbot1
The 94% of Scientists in the USA are the stupic ones, spoken like a true Trumper.

Yeah. I also remember reading an article recently about a climate scientist who said his colleagues would just hide data if any data showed that stuff like planting tree's did not benefit the environment or help climate change.

So given attitudes like that, and given the recent "grievance studies" hoax where scholars submitted a bunch of retarded shit for peer review(like dog parks add to rape culture) just to see if these people would take the bait...it does not shock me most scientists are liberal.

Putinbot1
Click the link the Scientists are broken down.

Trump ran his campaign on anti-intelligence, anti-intellectuals and anti-science, in fact, he told his Cult that he's the smart one and all they need to do is trust in him and follow, "I alone can fix it", "I love the poorly educated", "I have the best brain, believe me" etc. So it's no surprise.

A lot of Scientists identified as independent then, issues like Climate Change would be deal breakers for Republicans.

I think Party Politics works because usually parties broadly fit or don't fit us and in fact we are unable to change this. I have always voted Labour in the UK as to me, they are the nearest to my own opinions or the best of a bad bunch. I will never vote Tory as their views do not fit me.

I just typed this out with tears of happiness.

The average person is not informed enough to vote and is, therefore, not an appropriate person to vote.

Parties offer what you talked about - a cookie cutter grouping that makes it easier to quickly vote for what you think are probably good choices. So I somewhat agree with your point.

However, that point is foolish. Here's why:

So now that we know voting by party is stupid, what do you suggest is the solution? I don't have one. Other than abolishing parties, rank-choice voting, and requiring people to get a license to vote (similar to a drivers license where you have to pass a test to get).

The most racist political party in the US would call me racist for wanting voters to be required to know how US Civics work?

Inconceivable.

None of that surprises me re the Princeton study, fascinating mind. No, no solution here either. I would ask though which party has tried to bring in the more egslitsrian things, am I right the Republicsns have been in power more during the period of study?

Right, at least in the USA the republicans and democrats take up to much air in the room. They are both owned by large corporations so I'd love to see someone invent the new flower of a political party that has influence enough to win elections.

Executive and Legislative? Seems fairly even on the split with a bit more Dem house control.

Take a look:

The problem with those is they are often Trojan horses for far more extreme agendas. But I don't disagree.

It's broken down in the article I linked. By exact # of seats, which party, and by year.

cdtm
Can read this as "Only 6% of Republicans lack morals." stick out tongue

Because of the old meme about scientists putting research ahead of basic moral principles (And some noted scientists certainly have done abhorrent things in pursuit of knowledge, though I wouldn't assume them the norm.. I hope.)

However, I am aware the climate in America has changed in the 40 odd years since I visited your great nation for the first time as a kid.
