Would Thrawn have killed Pryce?

After Pryce destroyed the fuel on Lothal, do you think that Thrawn would have actually executed her like she thought, or come up with some other punishment for her?

I only ask because in the novels he doesn't seem like the type who would flatout execute one of his own.

Galan007
He was definitely going to execute her, imo.

As most have assumed, but was recently confirmed in canon: the destruction of the fuel supply on Lothal caused Imperial officials(likely Tarkin) to halt the TIE-Defender project indefinitely, and all funding was diverted to completion of the Death Star.

In short, Pryce's failure cost Thrawn his entire project... And it certainly wasn't the first time she had f*cked up.

Mendax
When was it confirmed? Didn't expect anything about that to be mentioned until the Thrawn Treason novel came out.

Galan007
Stated in the TIE Fighter Manual.

Do you have a quote handy?

...They allowed moderately/novice skilled pilots to operate a highly advanced fighter?....The poor TIE Defender, what did they do to you in Canon? sick no sad

Galan007
Not quite.

It's referencing Rebels, when Ezra(a novice pilot) stole a Defender, and took down 3 Interceptors that were being operated by well-trained pilots.

Well ok, but moderately skilled tho...leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But then that's just Legends creeping up on me again.
