I'm f***ing fed-up with Trump talking tough on an issue & saying he is gonna do something & then backing out of it like a scared little b*tch.


After getting the hopes up of those of us who support him by saying ice raids and deportations of IA's were going to happen this weekend he has backed-down (AGAIN) and decided to give it another two god**** weeks for the democrats to "come to their senses and negotiate" on issue. He knows damn well that dems have literally no interest whatsoever in budging on it so he is just wasting more god**** time. Dems have had long enough as it is. I'm sick of it.


He is just conning those of us who elected him to be tough on illegal immigration. Well, no more... done falling for it.


So long, Trump. Now I see that it's very possible for you to get your butt kicked in 2020 and, if you do, I honestly wouldn't give a flying f*** nor lose any sleep over it if you do.

Those accomplishments don't negate his failure to actually get results on illegal immigration issue. That issue was a major reason he was elected, Emperor. It's not just somer minor trivial point.

Just to be clear, just because Trump has lost my vote doesn't mean I'm going to be voting democrat though. It'll be a cold day in Hell before I ever do that.

When it comes to his decision I'm at the "wait and see" point. I have no problem with him waiting 2 weeks...as long as he goes through with his plan in two weeks if the democrats do not compromise.

But you have to realize neither side truly wants illegals gone, and neither side wants them made legal. Both enjoy the shit wages they can pay illegals to do work. Both enjoy that they can use illegals to rile up their base.

Surtur, all that's going to happen in two weeks time is hundreds if not thousands of more migrants are going to flood our southern border and of course that is exactly what democrats want because they know it will help them win future elections.


Trump has done a lot of good things but if Texas ever goes blue then none of it will matter in the end because it'll be game over for republicans. We will never have another republican president if that happens and I'm almost certain Trump realizes this yet he's still allowing two more weeks...smh.

Pretty much. I might disagree with Surtur in some topics here and there, but he often brings points that I find valuable. As time passes I've come to appreciate these oasis in the sh_t desert that is GDF.

After having an extended amount of time to cool down and think clearly again I see now that I probably overrreacted and was maybe a bit too harsh on Trump. It was a kneejerk reaction I guess from being so damn pissed-off.


I was looking forward to seeing ice raids on tv, illegal alien thugs being led away in handcuffs, and watching leftist snowflakes throw their little crybaby temper tantrums over it happening. Trump cheated me out of my enjoyment of watching it all unfold by backing down. I haven't totally forgiven him; gonna wait and see what happens at the end of the two weeks.

Trump is truly starting to think about getting elected a 2nd time now. I think that is why he hesitated with Iran and that is why he allowed this delay. He wants to be able to say "I tried to compromise".

I also don't think this 2 week delay would cause people in Texas who support Trump to actually vote democrat. Even if it makes them angry...if they do care about illegal immigration voting democrat would make the problem worse.

I think you misunderstood the point I was trying to make. Maybe I didn't make it clear enough. The reason Texas is in danger of eventually becoming blue forever is because of this unending wave of migrants that keep crossing the border. Waiting another two weeks will make it even worse. You can target corperations but even that only goes so far. Most of the Guatemalans in the town I grew up in in South Florida lived completely off the grid and got paid under the table in cash for day labor or else used someone else's social to do construction work etc.

INS raids, deportations, etc were not at all unheard of. The risk is still worth it compared to living in Guatamala where work is hard to come by and gangs will terrorize your neighborhood and recruit your kids at an early age.
