New Danny Boyle flick Yesterday (2019)

Caught an early screening of this last Thursday, film was excellent, good from start to finish and left you feeling warm and fuzzy inside.

I know it doesn't have comic characters or assassins shooting at each other as some of you only like those kinds of film, but you should still check this out.

been seeing trailers for this on tv, looks pretty decent so might check out

Meh. Never liked The Beatles.

Looks fun.
Really interested in checking this one out!

I'm a Beatle freak and will be seeing this.

I am looking forward to this. The only boy band where three of the members did generally better work after the band broke up. Tbh, Imagine, Woman and Jealous guy might be three of the best songs ever written. Live and let die, and My sweet Lord is pretty good. How many bands had two of the members having successful solo careers for two decades after the band broke up and how many groups had two members murdered decades apart? And Ringo is a good voice actor. They truly were amazing.

Huh.. never heard of it, but I like Danny Boyle. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh I saw the trailer for this at the cinema and definitely wanted to watch.

Paul kind of was.

I saw it and thought it was alright. Pretty enjoyable. Recommended.

So basically this movie is about a Guy who has no creative talent of his own is able to achieve fame and fortune by ripping off the Beatles? Yeah. Sounds like Modern Day Hollywood.

He and Olivia fought the guy off. Anyways, I doubt it increased the rate of his cancer. I have a few Beatle friends that still refuse to listen to Brainwashed. They think its too sad.

An interesting premise and a rather light hearted take on a What If type of universe. No Beatles. No Oasis. No Coke. No Cigarettes. No Harry Potter.

I'm not as old as you Fly, I was only three when the sixties ended. I remember the seventies as a kid and the eighties were much better for sure.

Yeah, Ginger didn't age well.
I think its why she got replaced for the first (and every other) reunion movie.

nah its because the actress really thought she could go off and be the Next/New Marilyn Monroe and doing a silly Sitcom was holding her back.
