CosmicComet has posted some beastly showings from Golden Age Captain Marvel (Not sure if the same as Pre-Crisis CM), such as surviving oblivion (where all matter is destroyed), rebuilding a planet in seconds, etc... I think he can certainly hang with King Thor.

Here are some of the feats:

Yes, he has some low feats, too, but at his best, Billy is a beast.

Adam Grimes
Low feats? Pre-Crisis Zoo Gorilla would probably pulp Odin himself to death.

Senor Cage
Yeah, Pre-Crisis Koala Bears would likely own Unworthy Thor. wink

Senor Cage
Hahah Thor is weak against mammals with fur.

Golden Age CM was highly inconsistent, it's not a matter of high vs lows he was actually wildly fluctuating in power. One instance he's pushing stars in another he's struggling to take down a normal shark.

Bronze age CM wasn't inconsistent. Contrary to popular believe not all Pre-Crisis eras were ridiculous. Golden age and silver age were ridiculous (so until early 1970s), Bronze age however was very much consistent and adhered to a very moderate power level for its heroes. It started with the official depowerment of Superman (in the sand superman arc where 1/3 of his power was permanently taken away from him; soon cosmic powered heroes like GL would be depowered as well in the early 70s were he had a less powerful ring) so after that superman planet juggling feats were all but extinct and that's the era when CM reappeared and was depicted as Superman's equal. You could argue that he's low trans in that era, at best. And that's not really enough to "hang" with King Thor. Maybe for a few seconds sure, but the battle will very quickly become one-sided imo.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. But thor doesn't have those types of strength or durability feats. Not saying GA cap wins, however.
