It's a very small village with only 12 births in 9 years. Every time a baby is born the sex determination is 50/50 like heads or tales in a coin toss. Is it impossible to get 12 coin tosses where tales comes up? Yes, statistically unlikely but it will certainly happen sometimes. When you have millions of births every year, this figure gets put in perspective.
