MCU Thanos vs. MOS Zod in terms of determination.

Zod was ruthless in his conquest to Kyrptonian domination and his quest to get the codex back.

Thanos was ruthless in his conquest to bring balance to the universe.

If Thanos loved Gamora as much as he said he did, then he gave up more in that conquest.

I would say Thanos had stronger will

The Avengers and Superman because they survived and Thanos/Zod are dead.

Thanos by what might as well be an infinite number of times.

- Thanos actually accomplished his goal, which included sacrificing his adopted daughter to achieve, and would've died the victor with the universe in shambles if not for time travel hijinks from the Avengers.

- Zod never actually accomplished anything outside of deleting Jor-El's AI and murdering a lot of people. Lost every fight he was in, died a failure.

Not saying Zod isn't a force to be reckoned with, but Thanos is the obvious choice for this particular thread subject.

Zod lost to the ultimate Mary Sue

Thanos actually set out and accomplished his goal, while he died in the end

Thanos withstood the destructive effects of the Infinity gauntlet twice

Zod has nothing on that

That seems more like a durability feat than a willpower feat.
