Void has several weaknesses he can only run away for one thing. It must have been the power Bob gave him to play with.
Thanos has the ability to get into anywhere.
It would be a great chase but Void would be put to pasture with Thanos and his mastery of technology.
An invention that can alter appearences would tempt Void into mistakes I think.

Well if Void sees in Bob then Thanos would have to dress up as other people to trick him into staying still.
