I loved seeing Paladin in Thunderbolts where he sacrificed his life for the team and Satana saved him.
Both these two might have the same stats in physical abilities.

Paladin has loads of experience. He isn't as good as Fantomex so he might only get one shot.

He isn't Fantomex's equal, true... but against Shatterstar, he doesn't need to be.

Shatterstar might take his fingers and plug him into a wall if he feels like it.

IMHO, Shatterstar. More or less the equal fighting skills but Shatterstar got low level superhuman physical stats and ranged attacks.
