Hulk can absorb other energy IIRC but light is ****ed.

Hulk has the ability to touch and harm beings on the spectrum. And not the one Carver and Abhiligend are on.

Hulk can touch and absorb Dr Light when Light turns into his non physical light form?
Not to mention at the same time Light would be messing up Hulk's eyesight/retinas

Yes. Hulk has been able to interact with non-physical entities, from beings in Astral Plane, to beings of energy.

My personal favourites in recent years are from WWH: He crushed the hands of Strange's astral projection in Banner's mind, and it broke his hands in real life. Or when he was fighting Sentry, and physically climbed his energy.

Could he make Hulk blind by preventing light from hitting Hulk's retina? Hmm, maybe, that would be an interesting tactic. I'm not sure I've ever seen light try that. Any examples of this?

At best that makes it a stalemate but you said Immortal Hulk. He'd thunder clap away Dr. Light even in energy form tbh.

he can make hulk blind temporarily before hulk get to him since the starting distance 500m is in his favor
however I'm not sure how Light can end Hulk offensively

Hulk would instantly heal from any blindness. I dont see how light is winning this. Absorption is just one of the ways he would win.

He can transform the gamma energy of Hulk into visible light for example messing up his power source.

is immortal hulk still vulnerable to sun light? he can transform energy to UV ray (nevermind the last issue it seems like he got rid of the weakness), although I assume UV rays is still not preferable to Hulk though.

even if He cannot drain all the gamma energy, he can still pull the gamma energy out of Hulk's body render him powerless
