Exact same conditions as what happened in Windu and Sidious's fight with RotS, except that Mace isn't with the B team, he's brought another Mace Windu with him.

How does the battle go?

Honestly, I still think there's a chance that Sidious takes this. My interpretation of the battle is that Sidious could have killed Windu at any time, especially if he'd used force lightning or some "alter" force power, but didn't because he'd forseek Anakin's arrival.

Now, the two would give him one hell of a challenge. I think the only reason they wouldn't get struck down immediately is because of Vaapad, but it would be a good fight with Sidious eventually coming out on top because of his knowledge of force abilities, raw overwhelming power, etc.

That's all Legends. In the Canon continuity, I think there's a much, MUCH greater chance that the Windus could have defeated Sidious, at least in the level of power he possessed during Revenge of the Sith. And I'm only saying this because there aren't as many ridiculous feats in Canon to make Sidious seem like the greatest of all time.
