Apparently this has been in motion for over a year, although it's moving faster than originally announced.

Normally I would celebrate, as he seems to represent a lot of what there is to hate about modern Disney, but they've got a tried and trusted method and still doing better than any other movie studio with consistent billion dollar hits, so not too much is going to change I don't think with a different CEO. Disney targets people's unwillingness to change (no$talgia!), as well as brand loyalty. It's why they haven't had a flop in such a long time, despite the quality of their movies nowadays varying.

His legacy for Star Wars is kinda sad. Given all the greatness he achieved.

he is going out on top so more power to him.
