Dream (DC) vs Beyonder

MrMind
Dream of the Endless ftw

zopzop
Beyonder erases him from the multiverse.

MrMind
no, dream (morpheus and daniel) has both made/remade the entire creation

something beyonder has never done

part of his stories has transcended the book of destiny that chain the entire dc creation

DOE wins via superior scaling and cosmology

That's Spiderman with the Beyonder's power. Beyonder wins.

MrMind
Beyonder himself has never remade marvel creation
like Dream did DC

DC has higher planes of existence that dwarf the inifnite multiverses and is bigger in size than marvel. Dreamstone which only contains a portion of his power is capable of destroying the entire dreamworld (which dwarfs dc's infinite 3rd dimensional multiverse in size)

Dream still wins

The Endless are wave functions that cannot be destroyed by traditional physical attacks, they are patterns, ideas and repeating motifs

Mr. Mind, Beyonder has erased a conceptual entity on a multiversal level and then recreated it.

not on the multiversal scale that is the endless

dream cannot die, if one is killed another took it's place

Glorificus
Beyonder stomps.

Stoic
Baby Beyonder literally has the imagination of an infant. This is what people often leave out. This is why the infant Beyonders seemingly dwarve the adult Beyonders in power.

MrMind
I was hoping someone who knows what they are talking about would enter the thread, then I saw it's stoic.....

Stoic
Hey kiddo, I've actually been around long enough to have bought the original Secret Wars. You continue to make a complete ass of yourself with these wild assumptions. You don't know me, quit lying to yourself. You obviously fail ar life, I mean misery is all that comes out of you kid. Grow up ok. smile

MrMind
Original secret war was released 35 years ago

So you are probably in your 50s,

Do you and Alberto go to early hour dinner special together?

Stoic
Don't actually know him. Yeah I'm exactly 50yrs old. It actually makes mention, that the Beyonders of the latest Secret Wars were adults, in comparison to the original Beyonder who was an infant. They made mention of this because a childs imagination is far more vivid than an adults. When you apply this to reality warping you would tend to see grander feats from the child but not necessarily being more powerful. That really doesn't matter here, as this childs very being, dwaved the entire 616 universe. The original Secret Wars was about an all powerful baby that wanted to play with his brand new action figures.

MrMind
let me know when Beyonder actually created or destroyed an entire multiverse/omniverse, then we'll talk

Eon Blue
Mr. Mind has the demeanor of a petulant child.

Dream wins.

MrMind
dc cosmics are seriously underrated here

in comicvine endless>beyonder, molecule man etc

Impediment
The only beings/entities more powerful than Dream, in DC, are Death, Destiny, Lucifer Morningstar, Michael the archangel, and Yahweh/God/The Presence.

Pretty sure Dream stomps.

BruceSkywalker
beyonder stomps

This convinced me that A Beyonder stomps.

deft
Beyonder is quintillionS times more powerful than the entire Marvel Multiverse. He stomps.

MrMind
buncha traitors

let me know when beyonder can perform multiversal creation, twice.

deft
Spidey, Wolverine and IIRC Doom recreated the multiverse with the Beyonder powers.

DOE wins via superior scaling and cosmology On top of this, the Dreamstone/Materioptikon has been used to manifest an infinite number of alternate realities:

Doctor Destiny also stated that the Dreamstone had the power to effect all of continuity:

This is important because the Dreamstone is just a piece of Morpheus's essence:

Speaks to the level that Dream can operate on.

I think it was mentioned in the newer handbook entries too.

That's the thing, the majority of the Beyonder's feats and fights from SW and SWII are still canon to him after the retcon including his erasing and restoring Death across the multiverse.

deft
On panel as well, like when Doom stealed the Beyonder's powers:

Spider-Man Secret Wars was destined to be canon.

This is an all ages comic and Paul Tobin himself informed that All Ages comics are not bound by code of continuity.

Has anyone even read Sandman and understands the powers of the Endless?
