He pretty mucb died, then got reforged by the Power of Castle Grayskull directly.


To take down a Skeletor who was amped off the eyes of Castle Grayskull, one which gives total control of time, the other of space. The Power chose Adam as their champion against uber Skeletor's wrecking the multiverse, all decked out in cosmic golden armor and a golden sword, capable of resisting attempts to unmake him, and cut right through cosmic Skull head.

It's from the "Eternity War" comic series. Remember the JLA/MOTU crossover? This comes right after that, which in turn comes after a MOTU run.
