Title says it all. namor is hydrated for the entire fight.

zopzop
Omega Red via Death Spores and life drain.

Supermutant
Who has Omega Red beaten via Death spores/life drain? I'll take Namor for now.

Classic Rogue, for example.

That's a good one, its surprising that she wasn't able to drain him. Still it seems like Namor should be able to last long enough to ko Red. IIRC Monet beat Red like that. If not though then its Red fight to lose.

She wasn't able to... because OR doesn't fight like a moron and didn't give her a chance, took her and Gambit out in a moment stick out tongue

Those tentacles - at their best showings - have been stated to have Ben Grimm-level strength and he can keep enemies at bay with them.

They can also stab through shit, seeing as how they're made out of carbonadium. Even the modular IM suit got penetrated by a single tendril strike.

Monet was amped when she beat Red. And retarded Pak wrote that.

Monet's "unlocked potential" was permanent. We haven't seen her much lately outside of the House of X appearances, so it's hard to say what that means now.

She is immune to the life drain though, which allowed her to pummel Omega Red. Can't say the same for Namor, who'd have some serious problems on his hands.

One thing for certain, we can't pretend Classic Monet would whoop Red's ass like that. Even under Pak, who had him getting raped by a few tigers sick

Resistant, yes.

Against Red, you either need a good healing factor or a massive jobber aura.

He drained strong healers too, like Warpath(w/Pakforce) and Sabretooth. Deadpool did resist long enough to break free, if you want to examine that.

It felt like comedy + his movie fame(this issue came out between Deadpool 1 and 2) protected him there, but do with that what you will.

Omega Red was still weakened by the nanites when the tigers attacked. His draining powers were barely keeping him alive and weren't working fully.

The complaint I had was that Deadpool magically resisted the full power drain(above) while Sabretooth couldn't deal with the weakened version.

And Red was still keeping him alive to continue feeding. He later drained Warpath and Domino too. Just makes no sense Deadpool gets a pass because of his movie.

Monet seemed immune to me, not just resistant. I guess it depends on how you read her grunts. I thought she was just exerting herself to remove the tentacles. Classic Monet was definitely weaker though, and more like an upgraded Young Justice-era Wonder Girl. She could lift cars and stuff but not deadlock with She-Hulk like now. In Monet's Gen X days, it was assumed her powers would grow with age though. I'm fine with it since there was always precedence for it.

It's certainly not as random as Warpath's healing factor and super sonic ass kickings. Warpak is canon fanfiction. Lmfao

Yes, he's handled healers, bricks... his pheromones and life drain are pretty uber, especially if he uses both at the same time (nothing stops him from doing that on KMC).

He still beat Creed before that, who is like a legion of freakin' tigers.

Only because Red stopped draining him, as he was curious if Wade was speaking the truth about his cancer condition getting reversed.

Retarded scene, not gonna argue that. But... that's what DP is all about. He can talk his way out of anything. Merc with the Mouth.

I read that as her getting somewhat affected by the drain --- and it makes sense because Red was siphoning her life force.

"Delicious".

Namor would "Imperius Rex" through any draining and beat the shit out of this beta red.

True, but he'd just drained Domino/Warpath(and who knows who else in the room) when he got Creed. He only got visibly sick and weak during the trip through the tundra. I just figured whatever he managed to drain was gone and slowly sapping Creed wasn't enough with the nanobots.

I thought he just said that expecting not to get resistance. Red's drain was always presented as that orange glow all that series, including the same fight when Deadpool joined. Just seemed like it had no effect all to me.

But that's just how I read it. Theses little details are vague enough that I don't really blame you for seeing differently. Yours seems equally valid, so I won't argue.

I do sorta miss the series though. The team dynamics were fun. Their power levels were respected for the most part: No one came off as a chump. Whenever a villain overpowered them, it felt earned. That aspect is so important for action hero series imo. The Mutant Merc squads are least good for that when the other X-titles are busy dropping the ball with underdeveloped political ideology.

Well, if Aaron's writing him he might lol.

man i hated that scene so much. it was like yeah, lets draw them big enough to make it reasonable that 3 tigers can own someone with a super strength that allows him to penetrate colossus hide with his fingers and KO beast with 1 punch.

and yeah, even with the nanobots plot, he was strong enough to still hold sabretooth and drag him against his will a second before the attack. and the way he was screaming for help when the tigers attacked him. juggernaut knocked out by an rpg, this, i cant understand this "generic bad guy gets owned" writing that doesnt take into account the character itself.
