...will he still be a monster?

He wants to go from the middle weights all the way to heavyweights. At the heaviest division, I'm pretty sure there is no real upper limit. There, you get real life monsters.

I'm just wondering if Takamura, who could cut enough weight to make junior middle class, will suddenly find himself the underdog facing down heavies who could never make middle because of their bone and muscle compositions, height, reach, ect.

Morikawa will die before that happens. In a recent interview, he said the manga had just reached its halfway point.

As to your questions, the heavies have no weight limit, but don't compare to the speed of the lower weight divisions. Takamura, on the other hand ,has been confirmed to be faster than featherweight Miyata during their spar so he should still have a comfortable advantage over the whole division.

Takamura wasn't faster than Miyata. He was just moving in a small circle, which caused that impression even on Miyata himself. Better ring control.
