This has already been done, and in the previous thread Big Daddy Sheev laid the smackdown upon Thanos the Mad Titan. Why? Telekinesis and force lightning; Thanos is defenseless against TK, and lightning blew him back hard from both Stormbreaker Thor and Worthy Cap.

Thanos is going to the morgue against the Emperor. If Palps grandstands a bit, Thanos might have time to teleport a moon onto his throne, in which case Palps dies.

Sid definitely wins the first one.

For the first fight Sidious could use his powers to keep Thanos at bay indefinitely. Whether or not he could kill him is another matter. He could probably f*ck him up with it I guess.
