Just generally do you think that he was a tragic hero?

Do you feel sorry for Anakin/DV ? Because he only turned to the dark side to protect and save his wife and just got used and betrayed by Sidious etc ?

Reckon Obi wan was hard on Anakin?

Reckon if Obi Wan knew about this( ie Anakin wanting to save his wife etc turning to the dark side despite the people and innocent people he slaughtered etc ) he would have been less hard on Anakin and have more sympathy for him and hence not duel and fight him etc ?

Regardless of his initial motivations, Anakin legitimately became evil. After Order 66 was commenced, there was no going back for him... At least not at that point. The dude wholesale slaughtered children(among others) without really thinking twice.

Sweet so true that great points ! Yeah he went over board when he slaughtered those innocent people etc..
