Azrael kills him

Blade had a few brief fights with Gladiator and Silver Surfer. Seems like he probably gains Boy-Thing's strength (as strong as the earth) from how he was able to duel the Surfer briefly, and his sword cuts clean through anything that has fear. Other than flight, we don't know too much else.

I wonder if Azrael's voice of truth will have any effect on Blade

it probably would but that seems like a specific type of mind control. as in azrael has to want to bring these people to his side. i'd guess with people he actually want to kill, he likely wouldn't be able to do this.
