I seem to recall Zauriel being ridiculously powerful, not Michael/Lucifer level, but one of the higher tier angels. He should crush Gorr.

Depends which Zauriel.

When he first appeared, he was still working as God's enforcer. Could even destroy the Phantom Stranger with his sword. Then he left God, and was depowered.

So I assume Golgo is using the former.
