For contest, UHS in the UK is among the top 3 best healthcare systems in the world by the facts. Often, they are ranked #1. So why did, arguably, the #1 healthcare system in the world perform so poorly to COVID-19?

So if it was Boris Johnson not listening to experts, what specifics did he not listen to?



As I understand the experts (I've posted multiple times how the actual experts said we should be handling an aggressive SARS virus), locking down everything and making everyone stay home was the wrong move and it caused more deaths. Re-housing old people who were positive, with other old people, was murder. Did Boris support both of those polices (locking down and making people stay home + rehousing positive old people with other old people)?

Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam and New Zealand did very well at getting things under control using strict lockdown.
