Spectre (as shown under Geoff Johns) vs Galactus (Under Donny Cates). Who wins?

Donny Cates? You mean the Galactus that got his head shot off by Thanos?

To be fair (and one or two people have pointed this out), Donny Cates' Galactus just stood next to a Thor God Blast and was unharmed.

Cates' Galactus was a joke. He should write Lobo comics.

Yes, read Day of Judgement. He also had Spectre oneshot Thunderbolt, casually destroy Dr Fate who was pretty much equal to Mordru, turn Neron into ice and pretty much steam roll everyone who wasn't an avatar of emotional entities.

Any serious version of Spectre is not losing against Galactus.

Johns version also had a giant hole blasted through him by Black Adam doing an M. Bison impersonation, got beaten down by the Sentinels of Magic repeatedly, was beaten badly by Shazam until he tapped into an external power source..

Spectre wins because he isn't subjected to Dylan Burnett's artwork like Galactus is.

Dylan is soloing all of Marvel with that shit. His style sort of works for the current Ant-Man series, but that is a high showing under forum rules.

Spectre was unphased by Adam, he didn't get beaten by Sentinels (his magic was restricted actually) and his fight with Shazam wasn't written by Johns.

Spectre.

The only version of Galactus that would steamroll Spectre is the one that was about to eat the Dark Dimension. This actually gives us an example of how powerful Galactus can become.
