Bleeding Edge Stark used the energy sword against Worthy Grey Gargoyle during Fear Itself.

Extremis was the one before that (not including the depowerement period in "World's Most Wanted" arc).

Tony has used the Extremis suit and related enhancements in the big events such as Civil War, World War Hulk and the beginning of Secret Invasion (got depowered here).
