70% true. The only thing that's off is that I wouldn't be surprised if many of the Trump slurpers on this board do genuinely dislike the Republican parties.

The Republican base is a lot less homogenous these days compared to the Democrats. You've got libertardians, neocons, the alt-right etc etc and they all hate each other. So it's quite likely that there are a lot of people who identify as "center" out of spite for the Republican party as a whole while still carrying many right-leaning views and considering the democrats the larger evil.

Trump is actually quite intelligent especially in matters of business. Just because he is not the most eloquent speaker around doesn't mean he's dumb. The way a person talks and his vocabulary aren't the only indicators of his intelligence.


He became president of the most powerful nation on earth despite the fact that the entire MSM and the political establishment were against him. Even many in his own party opposed him. He also created a huge business empire starting out with only a few million dollars.

Whew, again, not me. Thankfully. I'm not a centrist. Both sides are objectively bad, though. Democrats are not just a tad worse, they are MUCH worse that Republicans. True evil. And I still have never voted for a Republican or Democrat at the national level. Did for the local city council, though. And I did once for the state congress. But never national.

Republican superiority? Yeah, they ended slavery and Democrats wanted to keep slavery. Republicans agree with Democrats and they both want more spying on the American people, though. So, yeah, Democrats are a -10 and Republicans a -6 on a scale that goes from 1 to 10 on how good they are: both are evil but Democrats are just much worse.
