What does "have it their way" entail. Like, if they could reality warp?

At this point, do we really think Bruce would ever choose his family over crime fighting?

I mean, the man takes little kids and have them fight grown adults every night.

That's a really, really good point. At this point, fighting crime is basically muscle memory to him. He may not even want to do anything else.
