I remember later he also protected himself from Nekron trying to crush him after going through a wormhole that drained him, but not sure if that's what you're looking for.

The first hit, we don't know what type of attack that was. The second, it's not there since he blocked the attack but the backlash was probably to strong for him to handle. He wasn't hit directly with the attack.
