As you might have noticed, everything is a bit....stale.

So there's no better time than now to have some fun with your favorite, or not so favorite characters!

3 characters:
- 1 low herald, 2 high metas
- separate/not merged
- prep time maybe?
- randomized characters
- no redrafting

BUT

You can negotiate with other contestants to switch characters, if they want, before we start making the match-ups. You can change low-heralds with low heralds, high metas with high metas or even low heralds with high metas. You might even completely change your team from what you first start with.

In the utmost extreme example, you might even want to give up two of your high metas for another one's low herald, if they want to.

I'll be the host for the entire thing.

animal man seems difficult to use in tourney, he's either too powerful or too useless depends on the stipulation

I'll say this before we get there: if anybody has questions/clarifications, they should be asked before we start the matches.

For example: classic Quicksilver doesn't refer solely to the one from the 60s/70s that was having good races with Hawkeye's arrows/was limited to around mach 1. It's essentially the pre-HoM version. And if anybody has certain objections about some characters , they should say so, too. If not, it's valid. Same goes for any other character.

With regards to Animal Man....I personally just see it as being above Low Herald, which is where he is situated (a Sun Eater, that is). Would be interesting to see how others see it, and I welcome other views and opinions. I'm not going to die on this hill to spite you mate.

Yes. The point was to remove the people/tech so that there's no outside interference. But the stuff that is necessary for the characters power to work is all there.

What can we do during prep?

You can build stuff, put up defenses, prepare offense etc. You can run around the globe, you can teleport, you can fly, in that time. But you can't affect the actual battlefield - once the match starts it resets so you only have what you carried/created on you.

Imagine that when the minute is up you go through a portal which takes you to the reset battlefield . Standard 0.5km starting distance. No BFR.] So you can't actually start digging holes to hide inside during prep on the battlefield, because it will all be reset.

For the sake of eliminating loopholes, the merged Earth is very randomized, so you won't even know where Gotham is or shit like that. And Gotham won't have a batcave, etc. You just have 'generic materials', not unlike on our Earth, around.

Hey beat, sorry for all this confusion, but since there are already frozen picks after there's already been negotiations, drawn match-ups and 4 of them (i.e. perfect for semi-final, then final format), we should leave the rest for a future tourney.

Classic is a class 100 brick with TP rarely used, TK he used a lot and genious intellect
Post resurrection he's a better TPer than MMH and ready willing and able to shred minds in a heartbeat. Much more powerful mentally but much weaker physically and could teleport.
Nu52 I believe got an amp of post resurrection.
