While out for a stroll one night, Mary Poppins passes by a somewhat eerie and seemingly deserted house. Then, out of the corner of her eye, she glimpses in an upstairs window the face of a small sad-looking child.

Feeling that there may be another family in need of her special talents as a nanny, Mary skips up to the door and knocks. When there is no answer she opens the door and enters, announcing herself loudly.

But the house is dark, empty and falling apart. Then, in the shadows at the top of the staircase Mary is sure she sees something moving...

Unfortunately for Mary the child was just an illusion. This is a grudge house, inhabited by the spirit of Kayako, and Mary has just been cursed.

Kayako - vengeful spirit. Inhumanly strong, able to break bones and crush people; super fast, able to move faster than the eye can follow. Has low level reality warping abilities able to pull people through walls and objects, spirit people away without a trace and even seemingly into pocket dimensions, or enter and exit mirrors and photographs as if they were portals. Possesses telepathic abilities and can cause technology to fail. Can shape-shift and teleport, become invisible, regenerate from damage, create illusions and sometimes possess the living.

Mary Poppins - magical being of unclear origins. Possesses the power of flight and has superhuman speed. Has powerful telekinesis, and telepathic powers and mind and memory manipulation, as well as some clairvoyance. Can communicate with and control animals and plants, bring inanimate objects to life and control them, and control the weather and elements. Seemingly has some level of actual reality manipulation - has transmuted and created objects out of thin air, can enter pictures and photographs like portals, can store items inside a pocket dimension in her bag, and travel between different dimensions and magical realities as well as transporting other people with her on adventures. Treated with respect by other magical beings. Possibly immortal.

..Will Kayako get the nanny treatment? Or will Poppins get begrudged?

Old Man Whirly!

Lol I just wanted to give some background about the characters. I thought it was an interesting matchup because there is some overlap in abilities.

...And we don't see Poppins in combat much.
