I'm probably influenced by the cinematic universe now, but both are pretty skilled relative to each other. I want to say Tony wins though

Im gonna say Tony because even though he uses a suit he regularly engages in melee combat as opposed to Strange. He still works regularly and trains with beings like Cap,Widow, and Hawkeye. He should have picked up more than enough h2h to fight a wizard with no magic

But he did become skilled in martial arts thanks to Wong later in his career.

Thing is, so did Tony (due to his training with Cap).

Strange's style may be more flashy, but being flashy doesn't always mean being more effective.

Back in the day Strange did Judo and Tony was built like Tom Selleck whereas originally, Strange had far more of a Vincent Price vibe. Selleck kicks the shit out of Vincent Price, Judo or not.

No. I really believe they are in the same h2h skill tier (more or less) and I'm undecided on who should win.

Strange's showing against mind-controlled Wolverine is one of his highest feats ever though, not denying that

One of Tony's greatest showings ever, even if Steve was going easy on him (I'm not aware of the full context behind it). Exactly. He is covered in the Extremis yellow 'coating' with only his face visible. I remember him losing but showing some skill.

I'm quite sure it's in Iron Man's own title , but it was pretty great.

He never again performed so good against Steve, that for sure.

So again, the feat is great and everything (and even longer than just the two pages DS posted), but...

... it needs to be said that Tony was Extremis-enhanced at the time.

Sure, he wasn't a beast like Mallen or some other extremis brutes, but I wouldn't say he was exactly human, either.
