Is Wolverine really the best there is at what he does? Or is the ebony blade?

been done. stilt agrees dane kills him.

I disagree. Wolverines bones can sustain anything. I used to think The Black Knight too.

BK stalemated Wolverine for a short time... when Wolverine underestimated Dane's EB... and they ended up grappling with each other.

If the battle had been allowed to continue, Wolverine would have overpowered him. As even at his absolute weakest portrayals, he is a good deal stronger than Dane, who is just a "physically fit specimen", athlete level.

Unless you can find some rare showings of EB boosting Dane's strength?

Well the bloodlust is common to both of them. It seems even to me.
I think it comes down to a breakthrough of the sknit that can even skin Juggernaut.

Wolverine wins. Stronger, faster, more skilled.

The ebony blade goes back ages.

The Ebony Blade is a great piece of weaponry but if the person wielding it can't match Logan.....gonna have a bad time.
