It was never on the level of GI Joe, Transformers, or Masters of the Universe.

steverules_2
Dwayne the Rock Johnson will probably be cast as Lion-O

I never cared as much for Joe and transformers.

Thundercats,heman,turtles ,spaceghost.

Maybe someone can help me. There was a cartoon at same time as these and the heroes had different creatures some kinda bird dragon and this monster that shot Ike fire pellets.

I also remember having these robot hawk toys from another cartoon.

Oh, the nostalgia is hitting me hard right now

Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light.

Transformers was my bread and butter. And Ninja Turtles, the live action movie and goofy toon was a big part of my childhood.

And Ghostbusters.

Know what would make a perfect revival in todays climate? The Inhumanoids.

This was nightmare fuel for adults, let alone kids. Was awesome.

Johnson would be a better Panthro.

Lion-O needs to be someone younger, ideally in their 20's, who can act like a child, as Lion-O is a child in an adult's body.

Tom Holland would be a decent choice, he'd need to bulk up some though.

KingD19
Tom Holland or Taron Egerton would be great Lion-O's.

Damn autocorrect

Act like a child, you say?

A little CGI de-aging, and The Donald can make his cinematic debut. thumb up

This movie is going to be animated, not live-action.

Ah, well, both happy and disappointed.

I think its probably for the best. Better action sequences and I was worried about how they were gonna pull off the character designs.

This is nitpicking but I hope they make Tigra the biggest like an actual Tiger would be. I know thats Panthros thing but it always bothered me.

Tigra was a bit taller, Panthro was just jacked, but that's because of the heavy steroid abuse.

1980's Lion-O is equally jacked. And all he did was sleep into adult hood. 😝😂

Robtard
That's because Jaga had massive amounts of super-steroids pumped into Lion-O's teen body while he sleep in the suspension capsule.

Jmanghan
He-Man is better.

Robtard
I enjoyed He-Man as a child as well, but preferred The Thundercats

cdtm
Thundercats had actual character progression. Masters of the Universe was very static by comparison.

Still great fun though.
