I don't think leading cops on a high speed chase is super admirable, as it doesn't consider the safety of adjacent people, but I don't think reactive violence is the answer.

More and more it's becoming evident that there needs to be, at the very, some kind of standardised police training across the US.

I know a considerable number of you yanks are vehemently against a federal police force but at the very least some kind of federal police training academy with well funded psychological testing and stressing.

Far too many US cops lose their shit in high stress situations and far too many people get killed as a result.

I agree with that but if you look at how the USA is organized it makes that incredibly difficult, states vs federal powers.

Literally the entire UK would fit in like 6 or 7 states with LOTS of room to spare, so creating a very centralized training is much easier in the UK.

Lol my state of MO has nearly the half of the total sq miles of the UK to govern without northern ireland (lulz.)

No, if you make a statement about something it's just a good faith piece for you to support it rather than everyone just clapping. Most of the high visual cases have come from up north in the past year but that doesn't mean shit either, just what the media follows.

My only concern about that analysis is dividing up numbers by state which is pretty useless, it should be done by counties in the state. That would be much more useful for extrapolating data points.
