Wonder Man
wink Can illusion kill?

I think Mastermind creates psionic illusions, not optical ones? In that case, wouldn't Juggernaut's helmet protect him?

There's been a few moments where it's unclear, but usually, yeah, it's a mental attack.

Juggernaut should be fine.

You mean when he needed Frost's device to help him project said illusions?

There are many psionics who aren't versatile and have limits. Frankly, that makes them more interesting than zomg-another-omega-level-telepath of the week.

I was thinking about those minor times where they describe it as hypnotism and such. Not major enough to give serious consideration too of course, as it's 99% of the time a mental attack though.

I absolutely agree. I like the idea of specialist telepaths.

Mastermind, Regan, and Martinique with illusions. Bogan being incredible at possession. Psylocke having psychic adamantium. Emma's skill enabling some illogical stuff, like transmitting her TP on a laser to bypass robots(wut). Trance with her Astral body, if that counts as TP. Gem Antonelli, where the power is mostly just limited mind control where she must physically perform the same act as her victim. Or Karma. Or even folks like Empath, if he counts, where he just controls an emotion.

Even against "superior" psi-talents, they could often still pull off their schtick because they are so good with that particular aspect.

Agent Wax is one of my favorite telepaths ever, and he's weak AF.
