I know nothing of the subject matter here, but Paul Thomas Anderson earned my respect with There Will Be Blood. Magnolia and Boogie Nights were also intriguing.

I'm a PTA fan, but the preview doesn't do much for me, it's like we're seeing the whole movie and it's just meh.

Yeah, I watched the trailer and wasn't super enthralled. Seems a super obscure subject?
