Therefore EVERY appearance Mxy has ever made(be it Golden Age, pre-Crisis, Elseworlds, DCAU, inter-company crossovers, etc. etc.) are ALL canon to him as a character.

That being said, Mxy has the unique ability to canonically cross-over into other fictional companies... One such instance occurred during the Silver Surfer/Superman crossover.

Some of the above feats(namely Mxy wiping out the New God Realm and the 5th dimension) become vastly more impressive when we consider that even when World's Funnest was originally published, it was already an established cosmological fact that as you move upward on the dimensional totem pole, the lower realms dwindle into insignificance.

From the perspective of the New God Realm, for example, ALL mortal universes(ie. the 3D multiverse) exist as mere bubbles:

As such, destroying/recreating the higher dimensions(like Mxy did) is infinitely more impressive than *just* destroying/recreating the 3D multiverse.


*Additionally, a few people over the years have called the above showings outliers, due to their extreme nature(they're basically the highest-end showings a comic book character can possibly achieve, and Mxy preformed all of them effortlessly.) However, there is a very good reason why Mxy doesn't go around whimsically destroying reality in such a manner in every issue he appears in: he prefers 'playing' in the 3rd dimension, and doesn't want to risk losing it...

In regards to Mxy and Bat-mite's little game that was causing the multiverse to be ripped apart, Batman says at the end that it was all just a fake reality. So I'm wondering if it's just a fake reality they made up where it looked like the multiverse was being destroyed rather than actually destroying the real multiverse.
