Can the Deviants assume control?

That team would lose, but if Thanos is a Deviant, then I'd wager that he could defeat some of the Avatars that have been hosts. The Phoenix itself at the height of it's power should be above the Celestials.

As Deviant myself, I could do many things to both actresses who played Phoenix.

Jean vaporizes them and the Eternals
