But yeah, that's a Flash level feat.

StiltmanFTW
carver with lots of tinfoil

DarkSaint85
Tbf Carv can read really fast.

Understanding it, is another matter.

Wonder Man
Multiple Man.

DarkSaint85
Lmao Wonder Man actually wins this

Wonder Man
Actually another one might be Husk. Only in glossary.

StyleTime
The real feat monster is the library. It actually has every medical text ever published.

Superman is lucky to have survived the encounter tbh.

Would the Flash's mind be able to process that much info though? I almost want to say no one can.

Lol was thinking the same..

What a laughable feat, but to answer the question; no one can.

Don't forget about durability.

Speed doesn't seem to be destroying or even significantly damaging the books.

Yes, he can.

It might look as if he's shuffling them, but that's just him furiously masturbating to the anatomy pages and his dick isn't visible because it's vibrating in superior dimensions.

Only Flash and its Reverse versions can replicate this.

Look at Astner for irl examples of exactly that.

Even with the internet, this feat is impossible.

The Library is beyond abstract level.

I think DC had some really fast supercomputer - it appeared in the recent Supergirl run, if I'm not mistaken?

But Superdouche obviously never used it.

Is the Authority carrier the fastest computer in DC?

Majestros was saying something about his moon sized quantum computer being way, way slower in Captain Atom Armageddon.

And wouldn't that mean picking up a lot of disinformation or quack theories? How would he even know the difference?

It's not really the speed of the computer that's the problem.

It's the fact that humans have been publishing books for centuries upon centuries before we even harnessed electricity. Most probably never even got recorded to online databases, much less actually uploaded in full. That's not including the texts that were lost to war, natural disaster, moronic political movements burning them, etc. We actually have historical records of some lost medical texts, among various others from all over the world. Hua Tuo had some of his medical work straight up burned when he tried to release it before his execution.

It's less being able to quickly access things, so much as not having access at all to them. We could get stricter with our definition of "published", but I'd still suspect there'd be missing works.

That said, it's comics. I'm mostly joking around.

Aside from The Library being multiversal even when in a weakened state. That's just fact.

DarkSaint85
Well there are such things as copyright libraries; basically if you publish anything in that country, you need to provide copies to that library. So they exist (but as you say, we are now getting into technicalities over a throwaway line).

StiltmanFTW
Or maybe Clark actually believed that puny library really had "every medical text ever published".

He's never been too bright, especially the DCnU version superdur

Granted it could be because of skipping my mid afternoon cup of coffee and suffering withdrawl. Or it could be a panic attack. Or it could be chronic insomnia from too much late night porn and drinking.

Up In The Sky is canon, yes.

When UITS originally started being released(which was before the conclusion of Doomsday Clock), the main reason its canonicity seemed questionable is because Clark was shown having a convo with Pa Kent:
https://i.imgur.com/oIl0UnG.jpg

And at the time, Pa had been canonically killed in a car accident back when Clark was still in high school:
https://i.imgur.com/IuWWEK9.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/jNYJccN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/7t4qyM2.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/mQCK4EI.jpg

However, the final issue of Doomsday Clock retroactively altered Superman's history. So now, in current canon, Clark saved Ma and Pa from the accident:
https://i.imgur.com/4CqJjVg.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/L6fKRKZ.jpg

And they are still very much alive:
https://i.imgur.com/k9JLtfj.jpg

Which means there is no longer a reason to doubt UITS's canonicity.

My question is whether UITS and Doomsday Clock were planned relative to each other, or if King did his own thing and Doomsday Clock did theirs, and coincidentally happened to fit with each other.

Hard to say since Doomsday Clock got delayed at that point. Though It seems that Tom King did try to fit UTIS with Bendis continuity

It references Nuclear man who only appeared in main continuity( More accurate, Bendis' Superman)

But all in all, Like Galan said, There really isnt any reason to doubt UITS canonicity after Doomsday Clock

Am crying with laughter here. Hello!

StiltmanFTW
Carver thinks the Earth is flat and that Santa is real and you're worried about the comic book forum rules?

DarkSaint85
He's still scanning the kitchen for more tin foil, tbh.

StiltmanFTW
I heard carver's kitchen is continental in size.

And his fridge can reach temperatures below zero...

carver9
I do have a pretty big kitchen though. Let me know if you want pictures. Now my fridge is average, I think I'm getting an updated one this Christmas as a gift (hopefully).

StiltmanFTW
But it can still flash freeze below zero.

So if DarkSaint gets his own dick cut off, he can store it in your fridge, call ambulance and get it reattached, eventually.
