Two low-level astronomers must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth.

On Netflix. Solid cast and very well done, highly recommend.

It's a parody on today, but it's more like a semi-parody considering how truthful it rings at time.

That meeting right at the start gave me flashbacks to the are/tards I used to work w. All they needed were some uniforms.

Anyway, looks okay, will give it a look, Ty. thumb up

Almost made a thread for it the other day. I watched it and actually plan to watch it again with my wife at some point.

Thought it was hilarious and all-too-real and therfore insightfully disturbing.

Roland Emmerich didn't approve of the film. Lol

This isn't exactly a "disaster movie." It's political satire and social commentary. Talk about missing the point.
