Well I recently watched all the movies of, A Star is Born. Why on earth would anyone want to remake this crap for times is beyond me.

Some movies deserve to die and I've noticed that remakes now include hidden agendas for the wok movement. This may include a portrayal of certain groups that were once not included.

Not 'Back to the Future'. Robert Zemeckis owns the rights and has stated he would never under any conditions sell the rights for a remake.

Speaking of Cronenberg, The Fly (1986) is better than the original film too.

Been hearing for years that a remake is in the works. With today's CGI and a good director and cast, could be an epic remake, again.

Should've stuck with the practical effects with the prequal, Stupid movie studio.

$20 says the Star Wars OT will be remade in twenty or so years.

remakes CAN work sometimes, The Thing, Scarface, Cruel Intentions, Oceans 11, The Departed, True Grit, Cape Fear, Heat... all remakes, all as good as if not better than the original so I say if you're gonna remake em (as Hollywood does) just do it well!

I think a Breakfast Club remake could be interesting in the hands of a good director.

And while not a remake, The Exorcist is getting the Halloween treatment next, with the same director and everying - A distant sequel to the original acting like the other sequels never happened.

I think the best remakes are the ones that really try to put their own unique spin on the premise, rather than just doing the same movie again, and inevitably worse.

If they remade silence of the lambs I could tell you right now they would try and implement a Jodie Foster cameo, but she didn't even want anything to do with Hannibal so maybe that's why they're not remaking it: no one wants to BE in it

Yeah memento was a great movie ,one of the most unique films I've ever seen . I can see it being a series maybe on someone else not a complete remake. And yep,Friday is a classic and shouldn't be made
