I have taken a lot of blows the head. A LOT, A FVCK OF A LOT! In the the last two years I have started muddling people's names, forgetting things and occasionally although no one noticed a little confused. I have a CAT scan on Friday.

good luck whirly. hopefully nothing turns up, even though that can be stressful as well, when no explanation is given. did you mention your long covid to the doctor?

Haven't been hit since adapting grecko roman wrestling tactics combined with dirty fighting. From a grapple to a slash at the eyes/nose/throat gets them every time if you're quick about it. Armpit blow works good too.

does that mean they found nothing in the images, or did they find something questionable. usually when they find nothing, they start making educated guesses and scare the shit out of you.

Two they could see any major trauma, but my symptoms fit it.

I hope I am imagining it, but honestly don't think I am. The possible capillary issue isn't clotting exactly either. My RBC's are also tge upper end of normal size and the upper end of normal level for erythrocytes.

I hope you really have been overthinking it, but also hope that doesn't stop you from trying to get to the bottom of this. I say "trying" because if the leads they're investigating now are dead ends, it will probably remain a mystery, open to multiple educated guesses. at least that's been my experience with neurology and imaging.

*edit* not disrespecting neurology, it's just frustrating how limited the diagnostic and surgical capabilities are compared to other medical sciences. I almost had to have a hole drilled into my skull. I mean ffs the ancient Egyptians did that. meanwhile cardiology has sci-fi tech, robots can fix heart and send you home in a couple of days

Wondering if Whirly is under a high amount of stress, or higher than normal. That can cause forgetfulness, confusion, lack of focus etc.

he did perform some very drastic body changes, went from hulk to bruce banner and then turned himself into the hulk again. Possibly related to "hormone or vitamin imbalances". depression is another possibility to look onto. I hope whatever it is falls into the "reversible" category
