Will science ever make some breakthrough that allows humans to live 200 years, or even 120 as their average expectancy? Or even given thousands of years will the age of 100 still be the outlier?
truejedi
I think the science could definitely do it. The solution will be found in the genes eventually... But the world can't support a population that doesn't die... So before the first human reached 200, we would finish destroying ourselves.

Human lifespan is already increasing and has for millennia.
Creationists claim people used to live for 300 years though so idk.
NewGuy01
Not by a lot, at least not in the foreseeable future.

Lifespans have increased and will continue to increase, at least for certain people. Just likely going to be small increments unless there's come major breakthrough. Both Jeff Besos and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia are investing tons of money into private age related lifespan research; they're not the only ones.
@Blakemore Creationist also believe the universe is only around 6,000 years old, immaculate conception/magical pregnancies and that giants existed. Don't listen to them.

No one with even a basic understanding of science or geology believes that, every Christian I grew up around thought it was older.
So the being who created our reality and everything in it couldn't put a baby in some random chick? We're the ones with limitations, not a supreme being.
Didn't have to mean giant humans, just big things, sounds a lot like dinosaurs and shit. We got the bones to prove that much.

In fact, the universe is exactly how he wants it, and we can't change that. So it doesn't make a difference if we believe in him or not.

Yeah you don't have to, I certainly won't try to make you.
Just don't be surprised if someday he or it shows up.

Always a possibility, in an infinite universe it wouldn't surprise me either.

There's plenty of young Earth creationist that believe what i said. eg Kent Hovind
The ability to do so would exist for such a limitless being. It actually happening to one Jewish chick 2,000 odd years ago though, nah.
They specifically mean giant humans or human-like beings.

I see you're adamant in your position, therefore I shall not attempt any more Devil's Advocation.
