USSJ Trunks vs. FPSSJ Goku

This is just a beam war. They are standing 100 feet apart and fire their most powerful attacks at each other. Who overpowers who, and how much difficulty would it take?

***This is Trunks and Goku from the Cell games.

Reasons? I have them on the same level in terms of power output, but Goku obviosuly has the edge in speed. So Goku would win in a fight, but this is just a beam war.

Because when Goku powered up against Cell, Krillin stated that he was beyond all of them... And no one(aside from Gohan, who was ~/> Goku at the time) disagreed:

*Granted, Trunks spent another day in the RoSaT after that, but there was never any indication that his power increased by much at all -- especially when he could barely hold his own against a Cell Junior during the games.

Hell, you could even make an argument that FPSS Goku(at half power) > USS Trunks, given the Z-Fighters' awestruck reactions when Goku powered-up to 50% on Korin's tower... But that's neither here nor there.
