Dunno why people are sad, she lived a gilded life to 96, that's not a bad run.

jaden_2.0
Liz Truss murdered her. There's room for only 1 Liz to rule over the plebs.

A lot of my family members looked up to her, and in doing so passed many great values down to myself and my siblings, for which I am forever grateful. Regardless of my thoughts on monarchial governance and scandals, Queen Elizabeth always stood as a symbol of majestic royalty and honorable nobility, and she always stood up for every humanitarian cause and public celebration she could. She really was the People's Queen and a eternal example for all future monarchs who succeed her, and I am immeasurably grateful to have been born during her reign. There were always crazy conspiracy theorists who thought she was some reptilian alien invader and admittedly I believed them, but given recent events, I have a more pragmatic view towards life and have realized that she truly is just a Queen born into a royal family doing her best to uphold her ancestral heritage through tradition and rectitude. RIP your majesty and thank you for dedicating your life to being a paragon of majestic nobility and global dignity.

Fish and chip shop's windows smashed after owner celebrated Queen's death

The owner of a fish and chip shop in Scotland who caused outrage by celebrating the death of the Queen has had the windows of her business smashed. -snip

Jaki Pickett, who runs Jaki's Fish and Chip Shop in Muir of Ord, in the Highlands, posted a video of herself on the shop's Facebook page popping a bottle of champagne after news of the Queen's death broke last week.

Pictures showed her holding up a chalkboard that read "Lizard Liz Dead and London Bridge has fallen." -snip

Ms Pickett's membership to the National Federation of Fish Friers was last week revoked in response to the original social media post. -snip

I suspect this won't be the last fish and chip monarchy related violence. Thoughts and prayers.

Bashar Teg
poor edgelord. consequences are so unfair!

Robtard
While true, she should have been left alone to edgelord, people should have protested with their wallets, not rocks.

Though I suspect the majority of the protest were people not patronizing her shop and a very small number threw rocks. Probably Jaden

I don't think it's a hate thing, more contempt/sorrow/loathe, or to be a bit more kind, a bit disappointed he didn't fulfil the funny prince we thought he would. Then again, the last person to be the funny younger bro did... well, weren't not entirely sure yet.

Harry did good service. Now he's living a life beyond the royalty like his great granduncle did. Whatever happened to Kind Edward VIII anyway?

The succession has gone Elizabeth II, Charles III and then it will be William V. Tudor, Stuart, and Hanover tributes there.

Robtard
People overreacted to Harry's poor taste costume.

Besides, if he was a Nazi in the past, he undid that when he married a Black woman, like Whirly did smile

Bashar Teg
Halloween is a time to dress like something you are NOT. example: pretty sure all those senators with leaked blackface halloween costumes never once considered themselves black.

Blakemore
So do you guys like Harry, or not?

Robtard
I couldn't care less about royalty, I find the whole King/Queen/Duke thing to be antiquated and silly.

I view the British royalty as a bunch of rich asses, what they do aside from sliding out of a certain vagina and we're supposed to look in awe because of that? Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense.

Having said that, Harry is the most likeable of the British royals. Also apparently "hot" as he has a following of both women and gay and bi men.

TBF, Harry does look A LOT more like that guy Diana reportedly had an affair with, her riding coach or something like that, than he does Charles.

Strange given William was also seen as the one with looks. But I guess women still like their bad boys/rebels.

Plus tbf Willaim lost his hair.

Do British people still like paying for "royals?". Why, exactly?

shiv
By the time she was out of her teens she was a fully trained mechanic she could completely dissassemble an engine and put it back together again.

She was a very fast driver. Even in her 80s and 90s.

Every year on Boxing day she made breakfast for her servants.

She would often say to her staff. I'll cook. And she washed the dishes too.

There are numerous guests who she and her family cooked for, served and washed up after.

Some times when they had picnics she and some times her family along with her would say to the staff, no we'll do the work.

She'd dress in plain clothes at her scottish estate and visitors walking around her grounds and in her rooms never knew the friendly lady talking to them was The Queen.

So have you ever met The Queen? Said one guy to The Queen.

No. But he has. She said, pointing to the plainclothes detective standing close by.

(And the guy asked The Queen to take a photograph of him with the detective).

Ha.

The guy who broke into Buckingham palace 3 or 4 or 5 times and broke into her bedroom while she was asleep... The worst he was charged for was theft of a bottle of wine (which he drank while walking around).

In another palace in another country with another King or Queen... yikes.

She signed all the documents that gave all of Victoria's Empire it's Independence.

Her government's had the policy of NIBMAR No Independence Before Majority Rule to prevent situations where Britain released a colony from the Empire as a protective measure against releasing countries into the hands of tyrants.

Prime Minister Callahan is one of many of her Prime Ministers who asked her for advice.

There are books at Eton with her handwritten notes in the margins on Constitutional Law.
