What started out as a small protest of girls and young women over the murder of Mahsa Amini by Iranian state morality police for not adhering to head dress codes, has now grown and grown.

Some are saying this could lead to another countrywide revolution and unlike the one in 1978-1979 that placed the current Islamic Theocracy in power, this could end it.

Your thoughts?

Probably end up with something worse just like most Arab spring countries did. Egypt, Libya, Yemen and Syria are all significantly worse off now but to differing extents and for differing reasons.

Bashar Teg

Macklemore

Hate to say it as I don't believe any religion, especially a small group's personal skewed interpretation of a religion, should run a country. But you're probably right, the Ayatollahs are going to crush this protest before it becomes a revolution and new laws will be had repressing women even more as punishment.

Macklemore
which is worse to women, ksa or iran?

Robtard
Before I would have said KSA, but women can drive there now. So not really sure.

Macklemore
well that's liberation, atleast.

Old Man Whirly!
Women don't have to cover their hair in KSA either.
