It'd take a while, but eventually, the Destroyer... it just need to wait Gladiator out.

The Destroyer should never be able to tag Gladiator so long as he's alive... but eventually, Gladiator will die of old age.

I looked through that issue before I asked. But it wasn't in there. Maybe I have the wrong year? I was in 2016.

Volume 3 started in 2016, yes. And the issue from that run that is being discussed is from 2017.

You're just more blind than Daredevil.

Granted, we only get to see two panels of it - the beginning of the fight and its end. But Gladiator's words make it clear what happened.

They might've gone with the release date rather than the cover date. That's often responsible for such confusion.
