Both characters have fire/temperature resistance but most importantly a basic awareness of each other as per forum rules. So Lockheed would avoid using flame attacks whilst being resistant to Pyros single form of attack.

Lockheed however has flight, sufficient strength to carry humans aloft, sufficient durability beyond just temperature resistance to enable him to withstand blows from superhumanly strong foes, as well as claws to inflict damage.

Pyro just has flame control and flame resistance.

But Pyro can make solid fire constructs and they would take Lockheed out. They are strong enough to give Gray Hulk and Colossus a fight :

Lockheed hurt Savage Hulk, Colossus and Ord.

But he doesn't do so well while having his own fire redirected at him, so it might indeed be a bad match-up for him.

This is a fair point. But said characters have general enhanced durability as opposed to flame resistance in particular.

Plus both are a lot less agile and restricted in movement than a flight capable Lockheed.

Lockheed would just need to damage Pyros fuel tank and then Pyro becomes easy pickings.

So I'd give the slight majority to Lockheed imo but Pyro could def take a fair few with those flame constructs

His best bet would be to not rely on fire attacks and to damage Pyros fuel tank
